The paintings in this collection are all highly textured to give the illusion that they have been painted directly on a rock or a weathered wall. The paintings in this collection are all painted on wooden boards coated with a thick layer of crushed pumice rock - pumice is a kind of volcanic rock, that is created when volcanos erupt - and a final layer of oil paint is gently painted on top of the pumice in natural tones and simplistic imagery. 

The painting comes framed in a light oak frame, ready to hang, signed on the back, and with a certificate of authenticity.

Please note that the frame is glassless to really show off the beautiful texture in this painting.
