A Note To Visitors

The Tiny Gallery can be found on Fanø, a small island off Denmark's west coast.

Visitors are welcome to browse original paintings, print editions, and the occasional surprise.

The artist is often present and generally happy to discuss art, gardens, tea, and local seal sightings.

For those unable to travel to Fanø, this is the next best thing.

The gallery changes constantly. Paintings move. New works arrive. Curious objects appear. Nothing stays exactly the same for very long.

No two visits are quite alike.

The Tale Of The Tiny Gallery

Once upon a time, there was a tiny art gallery in a very big city.

The tiny gallery stood in the shadow of enormous museums and grand white-walled institutions with polished floors, important visitors, and impossibly expensive coffee.

Every day, the tiny gallery looked up at the great galleries and thought:

“One day, I will be just like them.”

But the large galleries only laughed.

“You are far too small to be a real gallery,” they said.

And perhaps the tiny gallery was small. But what follows is a tale of bravery and ambition well beyond the gallery's dimensions.
