Description:

This print belongs to the series, Vessels of the Earth, a collection of sixteen original oil paintings and prints inspired by ceramic forms and the quiet energy of winter.

Each print in this series is styled with a warm beige border with some text at the bottom stating the title of the print, the title of the series, the name of the artist, and the year it was released.

Each piece explores themes of rest, containment, and unseen potential — honouring winter as a sacred season of dormancy and renewal. The original artworks are created in earthy tones on textured wooden panels. Both the colours and the texture is very clear and beautiful in the prints as well. The series reflects a deep connection to folk traditions, natural cycles, and slow, intentional living.

What size print should I get?

A good rule of thumb: measure the wall space you have in mind and choose a print that fills roughly two-thirds of it. For a statement piece above a sofa or bed, go bigger than you think — prints almost always look smaller on the wall than they do on screen. If you're unsure, get in touch with your wall dimensions and I'll help you choose.

How do I frame these prints?

All prints are sized to standard frame dimensions, so they're easy to frame off-the-shelf from IKEA, most home stores, or a local framer. You will never go wrong with a simple natural wood frame for my art prints. But I also recommend experimenting with coloured frames and mats, if that is your style. If you'd like specific framing advice, just get in touch.

What is a giclée print?

Giclée is a fine art printing technique using pigment-based inks that produce deep, rich colour and exceptional durability — up to 100 years without fading. It's the same method used for museum-quality reproductions worldwide.

What paper are your prints printed on?

My prints are generally printed on Canson Rag Photographique II 310G — a premium archival cotton paper with a smooth, matt surface, deep blacks, and museum-quality finish. Open Edition prints sent to the US will be printed on Moab Entrada Bright White 290gsm — made from 100% cotton, with a slightly textured, smooth surface and exceptional colour reproduction for beautiful long-lasting prints.

Are prints made to order?

Yes — every print is made fresh to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Once you place your order, printing begins, so each piece is produced specifically for you.

Are your prints limited edition?

Some prints are limited editions and some are open editions. Limited edition prints are clearly marked in the product description — once they sell out, they won't be reprinted.

What are the shipping costs?

Denmark: 40 kr.  EU: 13.95 €  USA: $10 for non-limited prints (shipped from within the US) or $80 for originals and limited editions (from Denmark).  Other countries: 37 AUD. Exact rates are confirmed at checkout.

What is your return policy?

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Read more about my return policy here.
