Description:
Pregnant With Beauty in Black & White is an original hand-carved linocut print from the Flower Folk series — a collection about learning to see the magic of nature, and remembering that we are part of it too.
This print is inspired by my original oil painting Pregnant With Beauty. The linocut transforms the painting into a more graphic, monochrome interpretation — simplifying the shapes and forms into bold black and white lines while keeping the spirit of the original artwork.
The image shows a vase shaped like a human face, holding a bouquet of expressive flowers. The merging of human form and plant life reflects the deep connection between people and nature.
Printed in bold black and white, the composition feels both timeless and modern. The organic textures and subtle variations reveal the handmade nature of the linocut process, where every print carries its own unique character.
This piece brings a soulful and grounding presence to a space. It works beautifully in cozy cottage interiors, reading rooms, studios, or curated gallery walls where art tells a story and invites reflection.
Only four original prints of this design exist, making it a rare and collectible piece of handmade printmaking.
